This is an Angel, a huge rusty one, designed by Anthony Gormley. The Angel of the North is located in Gateshead which is somewhere in Geordie Land, full of people that replace the Queens with words like Canny and Gan Like.
Gateshead is a boring place, judging by the sheer amount of people drinking themselves into bins, but the view from the Angel is fairly good and the climb is absolutely class. The 20 meter high, 54 meter wide structure dwarfs anything else in the town. Shouts to Luke, Scott and Morse. Biggest respect to those who have climbed this.
